Bronze globe valve is a type of valve whose closing element (disc) moves along the centerline of the valve seat. The characteristic of this valve is that the variation of the valve seat opening is directly proportional to the stroke of the valve disc. Due to the relatively short opening or closing stroke of the valve stem, this type of valve has a very reliable shut-off function and is very suitable for regulating flow.

The working principle of bronze globe valve is based on the linear motion of the valve disc. When the valve disc moves along the centerline of the fluid, its sealing surface tightly adheres to the sealing surface of the valve seat, thereby preventing the flow of the medium. This design allows the shut-off valve to only allow one-way flow of the medium and has directionality during installation
