Pneumatic V-shaped ball valve is evolved from the globe valve. It has the same rotary 90 degree lift action, except that the cock body is spherical and has circular through-holes or channels through its axis. The proportion of the sphere and the passageway should be such that when the ball is rotated 90 degrees, the sphere should be all present at the inlet and outlet, thus cutting off the flow. The main feature of the ball valve is its compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids and natural gas, but also suitable for media with poor working conditions.
