Pinch valve is a type of valve that achieves fluid control by squeezing a flexible sleeve. Its core structure includes a valve body, rubber sleeve, valve stem, and transmission components. The core component is a sleeve made of flexible materials, which directly determines the performance of the valve and requires corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and compression resistance. The working principle is to achieve flow interception by squeezing the casing through pneumatic/electric/hydraulic means, and the medium pressure can assist in resetting the casing.
This type of valve is mainly divided into two technical types:
Flexible clamp valve - characterized by a flexible sleeve, it relies on the pressure of the medium to rebound and reset after being compressed and closed, and cannot automatically restore its original state
Spherical clamp valve - adopting a spherical valve body structure, squeezing is achieved by controlling the injection of medium into the chamber between the shell and the casing. The spherical design is more conducive to uniform distribution of medium pressure and promotes casing recovery
The specially designed reinforced fabric layer enables the sleeve to balance axial/radial pressure and maintain dimensional stability. In working condition, the casing remains unobstructed under fluid tension when not pressurized; Deformation occurs after injecting the control medium to achieve interception. These two technologies can be combined to form a "spherical flexible clamp valve" that combines material properties and structural advantages.
